The Brazilian Tourism Board, Embratur, has launched new portals for international visitors, giving detailed information on major surfing and theme park destinations.
The websites were first presented last September in São Paulo by Embratur president Teté Bezerra to international buyers specialised in the segment. The new platform Visit Brasil Market Place, focused on international trade, was also announced at the event.
Bezerra pointed out that the new products are part of Embratur’s strategy to search for innovations. “Public institutions that help the development and management in tourism must also keep up with technological developments in the area. We closely monitor the best practices in the world and are working to modernise our performance model to better serve the market and attract more international tourists to Brazil”, she said.
